What is Math Antics?

Math Antics is a series of basic math videos created by Rob and Jeremy of Math Plus Motion, LLC. It’s also a website that offers access to practice materials for paid members.

What grade level is Math Antics for?

Our math lessons are organized by topic, not by grade level. But it may help to know that most of the topics we currently teach are typically covered between 3rd and 8th grade. Older students may find our lessons helpful for review.

Is Math Antics a complete curriculum?

No. Math Antics is not a complete curriculum for any grade. It’s best to use our website as a supplement to more comprehensive resources.

Do you cover High School or College math?

No. Our video collection is limited to basic math and we don’t have any High School or College level material. We don’t have plans to expand into higher math at this time.

Will Math Antics prepare me for my exam?

Math Antics is not designed to prepare you for any specific exam or certification. You can use it to help you quickly review basic math, but you should use it alongside a book or program designed specifically for your exam.

Does Math Antics align with Common Core?

Not intentionally. We don't attempt to align with any particular math standards.

Do you have a video about _________?

All topics we teach are clearly listed on the home page. If you don’t see a math topic you need in that list, then we haven’t made a video about it yet.

What’s included in a Math Antics membership?

A membership gives you access to the print-based Exercises and Worksheets that go with our free video lessons. You can see what those materials are like on our samples page.

Are the Exercises interactive?

No, the practice materials that are available through our paid membership are print-based PDFs. You will need to print them out or copy them to scratch paper as you would from a math book.

Do you offer quizzes or tests?

No, at this time we do not have any quizzes or tests on our website.

Do you cover word problems?

No, we don’t have any lessons specifically about word problem strategies at this time.

Is your payment method secure?

Yes. Our website uses SSL and all online payments are securely processed by the third-party company Stripe, Inc. Your financial information is handled by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

Can I sign up from outside the U.S.?
